Family Time

My boys really enjoyed themselves, playing their hearts out! We went to KL City and then up to Genting to enjoy the fun rides and then we ended up by the beach in Malacca. Just like Singapore, the weather in Malaysia was erratic. The highland was super cold with heavy mist we could hardly see what was in front of us. Think it was 13 deg. In the city, the temperature was better, about 25-28 deg but of course the rain had to spoil some parts of the outing (and shopping for me!). But the beach was beautiful. It was not hot but the Sun played its part to shine on the happy people by the sea. I spent a few days sitting on the mat (I came prepared ok!) on the golden and fine sand reading a book and doing some work. Somehow, doing work in a different setting (relaxed, with the cool breeze and all) was less daunting and, funnily, more enjoyable! To put it in a nutshell, the trip to the neighbouring country was excellent! The downside of it...I put on more kilos because the food was yummy and cheap, and I came back poorer because of the shopping spree. (Sob, sob!)
