Today when I feel like giving it all up,
when I think I am not making it in life,
I look inside me and ask.
What is the purpose of life,
what do I seek in life?
Money, fame and fortune?
Faith, family and friends?
I am thankful to God,
for today he reminds me
what is important by society's standard
is not what I should measure myself against.
I want to have faith in God,
to have a wonderful family and
friends who believe and trust me.
